I’m Lucas. I grew up in Cosquín, Argentina, playing soccer and dancing folk dance. I began serious ballet training at 17. That path took me to The Rock School, a professional career and a world much bigger than the one I started in.

Today I’m still a dancer. I’m also the founder of Ballet World Connected and cofounder of Barre Trash: two six figure businesses built from the world I know best.

It started with people

Before the agency,
there was a connection.

In 2020, when the pandemic closed studios, I started bringing teachers and dancers together through free online classes. That was the beginning of Ballet World Connected. Before it became a business, it was a way to keep our world connected.

Helping teachers share their work became helping artists, schools and brands tell their stories. The creative agency grew from those relationships. I knew the work happening inside a studio. I wanted more people to see it.

I met Louis DeFelice while touring Swan Lake in Europe. In 2023, we cofounded Barre Trash, taking the humor, friendships and everyday reality of ballet into a brand of our own.

Building businesses while dancing professionally has taught me to make creativity practical. A beautiful idea matters. So does having the team, the consistency and the care to bring it into the world.
